The Natural State of Our Being (Prosperity Principle of Supply-03)
It is not intended that humans should be forever satisfied. This fact is despised by many. But if we look through our mind’s eye, it's easy to see that there would be no Spirit of Evolution should we be forever satisfied. Life as we know it today would not exist if humans were forever satisfied.
The natural state of our being is perpetual increase, progress, and growth. So, when one good is realized, another desire for a greater good will develop. When a higher state is reached, another and more glorious state will unfold and urge humankind toward advancement. (Again, Spirit of Evolution.)
Science and logic declare that the Universe is filled with the essential substance of every imaginable good that humans can imagine. What is that essential substance? The essential substance is the essence of all the creative energy we can imagine. Many people are raised with limiting beliefs, which in turn get magnified through a lifetime of experiences, and messages brought about through the news, society, teachers, parents, and so on.
It’s the right thing to do to pursue our desires and ambitions. You could have a life filled with achievement. It doesn’t mean you are greedy, so long as your desires and ambitions are pure in thought and energy. It’s always the intention behind the desire and ambition that is the catalyst for success. On a personal note about this paragraph, I one time had my father tell me that I was "trying to get above my rearing." Whatever, Dad...
The law as it is given, “What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and so you shall have them.” Every person whether consciously or unconsciously, is operating this law in one or more of its phases. It works universally and on every plane of life’s expression. We are all drawing into our lives the things we desire and expect. Whether we attract good things or bad things, the principle we are operating from is the same. As we desire more of the good things in life and less of the bad, it is necessary to understand the principle perfectly and be able to adapt our thinking to it in a more direct fashion, so that we can benefit from a conscious, and intelligent use of the principle.
Prosperity Principle #3: “As we expand our thinking and realize more abundance out of what we already have, we shall not only expand our thinking but also receive more abundantly.” Two things come to mind with this Principle. First, the principle in action is through the expression of gratitude - for everything you already have in your life. Second, we ask the question: What can I do, with what I have? Sometimes we are not aware of the supply that we currently have available to us. When you are not in alignment with the supply at hand, simply repeat the above 2 steps. Express gratitude for what you have, and ask what you can do with what you have. Then, listen. Listening is an important part of the equation.
All the supply there ever was, still is, and ever shall be, for nothing can ever be wasted or lost. There can never be a shortage in supply. Because some people do not see an abundance around them and do not enjoy plenty is evidence that they do not understand or do not apply this Principle correctly. In mental blindness, they say that plenty does not exist, and as far as they can see, they may be right. But when they learn to see with their mind’s eye, they will realize differently.
The thing that we should NOT do is to fret and worry about supply or about where our next dollar is coming from. Fretting and worry tend to restrict and limit the supply at hand. They tend to close off the outflow of substance, whether that flow is small or large. Instead of lifting us out of limitation, instead of improving our conditions, or increasing our supply, fretting and worrying will drag us deeper into the throes of doubt and fear, which in turn will block our ability to use our power of thinking. Instead of expecting more to follow, we grow tense and anxious, which increases our fear and brings us less and less. Instead of tightening up in our thinking, we must relax and be more expanding. We must train our minds to a larger state of thinking. When we can think and realize more abundance, we shall receive more abundantly. It’s not the vocation that determines riches, but the demand we make of our vocations that determine the riches. There are rich farmers and poor engineers, and there are rich engineers and poor farmers.
Nothing can ever become something, nor can something become nothing. All substances are energy, molecules, and atoms. A substance can be converted, transmuted, and changed in a million ways, but it can never be destroyed. Following the cycle of the substance of a tree, we find it changing form many times; we see it giving off gases, heat units, and chemicals of many kinds, and yet if it were possible to be measured accurately, we would find that not one tiny part has been lost.
There is a phase of this principle known as Demand and Supply. Not the other way around. The Principle of Supply operates like this: When there is a demand for the need of a thing, the supply is forthcoming. Many people didn’t want to give up their oil lamps to electricity, or their horses and buggies to automobiles. The supply was always available to invent electricity and to build a car. Where there is no demand, there will be no evidence of supply. The people who had horse and buggy consciousness could not attract a new mode of travel until they were able to enlarge their minds enough to conceive it. And look where we are today - computers, cell phones, cloud technology, space travel - the expanded human mind will keep on advancing and creating.
All desire is an expression of the will, while to expect good is to demand (BELIEVE) good, and both are necessary to attract supply as you will learn in the Law of Attraction. Seek to adjust your desire with the Law or Principle, and expect that every good and only good, can reach you; then nothing but good can come – because there is good in everything, even if we are unable to see it at first.
The Principle of Supply is rooted in this understanding. The material world we live in is a sphere of effects, and behind these effects is a world of causes. Anytime there is a desire for a particular effect, it is because the specific “good” is already in existence in the sphere of causes. The desire is an appearance of an underlying cause. This is the foundation on which the Principle of Supply is based; and, when you learn how to operate it properly, you will be able to draw into your life more and more of the good in whatever form you may desire.
This is IMPORTANT: Do not confuse money with supply. Money is but one of the numerous means of supply. Money is NOT THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, but the love of money is. If you concentrate on money alone and use every means to gather it and hoard it, you are closing out and shutting off the other good. If you concentrate on a part and not the whole, you get only a small part. When you expand your awareness to limitless supply, you open all the channels of supply and get to enjoy all its parts. When we use the Principle of Supply to gain supply and use it wisely, we will satisfy every desire. Our lives will be as complete as the principle is intended.
The secret of the principle lies within our consciousness. Our lives consist not in the abundance of the things we possess, but in the consciousness of that which we already have. We possess the whole world and its wealth, yet we are only able to enjoy what our version of expanded consciousness allows. How expanded is your consciousness? To create greater and greater is to expand our consciousness to greater and greater awareness. To create greater and greater is to believe that the supply already exists to meet our demands.
Here's to your life of abundance!
